Trent Dean

Trent serves as the evangelist for the Highway 157 church of Christ in Cullman, Alabama. He began work with the congregation in October 2025, striving to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with clarity, compassion, and enthusiasm. His preaching emphasizes biblical truth, spiritual growth, practical discipleship of Jesus, and walking by faith daily.

Trent grew up in Decatur, Alabama, where he went to school at Decatur High School. He was an All-State athlete in baseball and football, and went on to play football for the University of Alabama from 2004-2007. Later, he received a Master’s degree in English Education from the University of North Alabama. It was during this time that Trent met his future wife, Caley. He started to study the word of God with an eagerness to learn God’s will so he could live and follow God in a pleasing manner. In 2017, he began working with the Baldwin church of Christ congregation.

He is married to Caley Dean. Together they have three children: Camden, Benjamin, and Jackson. The family enjoys being with their brothers and sisters in Christ, being outdoors, playing with neighborhood friends and sports, and being a positive part of Cullman’s local community. Trent is also a 9th grade English teacher and coach at Cullman High School. He currently coaches cross country, football, and track & field.

He counts it a tremendous blessing to labor with the Highway 157 church of Christ congregation and looks forward to continuing to grow in faith and love together.
